Fairfax Plant Hire Invest in the Future

Fairfax Plant Hire are committed to the future development of the company with a very successful young apprentice scheme.

Training Manager Vicky Peters stressed the importance of the apprentice scheme to the future development of the company.

"Apprentices are becoming more and more beneficial to our business and the training they receive on the shop floor and at Askham Bryan College help to produce a motivated, skillfull and highly qualified workforce."

"They provide the ideal way for businesses like Fairfax to survive and thrive in a growing and competitive market."

Fairfax are currently supporting four apprentices through their NVQ and will no doubt be looking to recruit even more in the near future.

Vicky added "It would be nice to see some girls applying as engineering is again  being perceived as a worthwhile career and a first step to managerial positions"
