Fairfax renew Selby Town Football Club Sponsorship

The new deal agreed between Selby Town F.C. Chairman Ralph Pearce and Fairfax Plant Hire Director Matthew Love will see the Robins continue to play their home games at The Fairfax Plant Hire Stadium behind the new Selby Leisure Centre and Swimming Pool development for a further two seasons.

Fairfax started their support of the club following a casual conversation between Ralph and Matthew in the summer of 2013. Matthew commented "Our relationship with Selby Town F.C. has helped to raise the profile of Fairfax and particularly our Fairfax Hire Centres branch in Selby which provides small plant, tools and gardening equipment for hire and sale to the local business community and the general public."

"We are delighted to continue to sponsor the club which is run by a dedicated group of local Selby people who give their time to maintain semi professional football in the town even spending the summer months repainting the clubhouse and fencing around the pitch."

Town Chairman Ralph Pearce added "We are very excited to secure the new deal with Fairfax as it is support like this from local business, however large or small, that keeps Selby Town afloat."

" As we approach our centenary year in 2019 we hope our relationship with Fairfax can continue into our second century as a susseccful non- league club."
